I used to learn from Dutta as the points were explained in a easier and reproducible form..

Heart,Chest and GIT went for Dutta..

used BDC for upper limb and lower limb as quick coverage is posbl only with it.......

IB singh for neuroanatomy

i used to read b d chaurasia for all regional anatomy n ib singh 4 histology..

greys i havent tried bt i have the new students edition which is vry concise n u can use it as an atlas..

we also use to refer netters atlas for abdomen n perineum...

i have used bdc &
ib singh for embryology in 1st yr..
but i haved used greys during my internship & found its much better then bdc but quite big..

I Have Also Used IB SINGH For Embryology,Histology & Osteology..these Books Are Quite nice..

When i was undergrad i used Richard Snell's Clinical Anatomy.

And Netters for atlas.

Served us well, at least for our exams... not enough for post grad level though...

WELL I DID USE THE BIBLE FOR ANATOMY !
BUT I ALSO USED INDER BIR SINGH, all 3 volumes, plus the histology & embryology books by him.

BDC only.. And I guess Grey's anatomy should be in spotting in practical exams!!!!!!!

new edition is pretty good covers all like histo,embryo,osteo etc
